Berlinale: Day 1

The first day of the festival was unfortunately a bit disapointing film-wise. I have managed to watch only one film and it was a complete disaster. It was a documentary about the life and work of a German director Werner Schroeter, featuring Isabelle Huppert and Wim Wenderns. I fell asleep half way through the film seeing that the director wasn't going anywhere with her material - and boy i did need to get some rest!

The highlight of the day was Mariusz's arrival in Berlin. Just look how happy he looks:

We did some sightseeing and had dinner at Vapiano. Then we had some beer and went to sleep.

The plan for today:
12.00 Margin Call
3.30 The Bengaoli Detective
9.15 Amnesty
10.00 Terrorists
